Confirm actual sample grab size from one convenient spot. A valuable addition to your liquid sampling system, the Welker Checkpoint™ Sample Bite Verification Panel makes sampler performance monitoring easy. A pressure switch and relief valve on the panel provide an additional layer of system protection.
Knowing the actual grab volume of your sampler is key to establishing the sampling frequency of a batch. Easily redirect sample bites into a graduated cylinder, and then use the average when calculating sample frequency. Avoid sample bias by taking a sufficient number of samples. If your sampler has an adjustable sample volume, use the Checkpoint™ to confirm the sample volume was set correctly.
Put an end to those hard to count drips. The check valve at the Checkpoint™ outlet causes liquid product to build pressure and exit the outlet in consistent spurts. This pulsing, predictable flow at the outlet makes samples more distinct for easy counting. You’ll get a more accurate actual volume and a clearer picture of a sampler’s repeatability.
If the pressure in the sample line ever exceeds the manually adjusted setting of the pressure switch, the pressure switch will signal your Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). With advanced notice you have the opportunity to troubleshoot your system and limit costly interruptions. If pressure continues to build, the external adjustable relief will relieve, protecting the sampling system from overpressurization.
When it comes to collecting repeatable quality samples, sampler performance is vital. Be proactive—use the Checkpoint™ to monitor sampler functionality and maintain your sampler at the first sign of trouble.
Easily upgrade any existing system or customize a new sampling system. On a standardized 16” x 20” panel with mounting holes and two configuration options, the Checkpoint™ can be installed to a wall where it’s most convenient for you.
