When you’re sampling short batches, you need a fast, reliable sampler. The inFlow™ ACE gives you the speed and repeatability you need to get the most representative sample possible. Whereas other samplers put out 2 cc in a sample cycle, the inFlow™ ACE is capable of collecting up to 8 cc in 2 seconds*.

If you frequently transport product from different customers or storage tanks, changing the sample volume often typically involves removing your sample extractor from the pipeline—a time-consuming, laborious task. With the external adjustment, you can quickly change the sample volume of the inFlow™ ACE without interrupting normal operations, no collection head disassembly required.
The inFlow™ ACE is a reciprocating positive displacement probe sampler. The pumping power of the piston motor is enough to overcome the reliefs to push the full sample volume through to the container every time. High-viscosity products won’t get left behind—the pneumatic or hydraulic pressure on the piston generates enough force to sample thick oils.
Install the inFlow™ ACE to a 2” pipeline isolation valve to insert and retract the shaft without draining your pipeline.
When pipeline depressurization isn’t an option, manually insert the inFlow™ ACE against line pressures up to 40 psig. Lower the line pressure to safely retract the inFlow™ ACE.
The optional insertion tool ensures safe, smooth automatic insertion and retraction of the probe at full pipeline pressure. Remove the insertion tool to use on your other inFlow™ ACE samplers or leave it attached to the installed unit without adding bulk.
A complete composite sample is key to sample representativeness and cross-contamination prevention. The inFlow™ ACE comes standard with a Welker Purge Tube, which allows you to purge trapped liquid product from the collection head to the sample container. Be assured your composite sample is representative of the entire batch and that no samples remain to contaminate subsequent batches. Achieve a proper purge and automate the purge process with a Welker Plug & Purge™ Automatic Purging System.
Made from 316/316L stainless steel solid bar, the inner shaft reinforces the strength of the inFlow™ ACE. The proprietary S9 coating won’t crack or break, even under the harshest of conditions. This added protection from basic sediment and water (BS&W) extends seal life.
The Welker Great Barrier Sealant™ filling the outer shaft of the inFlow™ ACE keeps the sample extractor stroking smoothly for longer. Trapped between seals, this lubricant sealant prevents crude oil from entering the outer shaft and protects the primary seals from wear caused by basic sediment and water (BS&W).
The standard collection head offers a wide adjustable sample volume range to cover a variety of sample batch sizes and frequency. Adjust the sample volume and actuation speed as necessary. Use the Welker Checkpoint™ Sample Bite Verification Panel to confirm your collection head setting and actual grab volume.
If you need an even larger sample volume range, the C-Style Collection Head is the option for you. Set your inFlow™ ACE from 3–24 cc to suit your sampling requirements. Capable of collecting such large sample grabs, the C-Head is a fitting choice for sampling small volume batches delivered at high flow rates. Use the Welker Checkpoint™ Sample Bite Verification Panel to confirm your collection head setting and actual grab volume.
A companion to the collection head, the inline relief protects sample representativeness during fluctuations in pipeline pressure. Acting as a check valve, the inline relief keeps your samples in the sample container. If pipeline pressure drops, rest assured sample won’t flow from your container back to the pipeline. With the optional sand reliefs, you can sample product containing basic sediment and water (BS&W) without putting extra wear and tear on your sampler.
