Detect molecular sieve breakthrough before moisture or mercury reaches downstream equipment.
The Welker Mole Sieve Probe is designed to sample natural gas from molecular sieve adsorption beds upstream of moisture and mercury analyzers in natural gas processing and LNG trains. Mounted directly to a mating flange on a dehydration unit or mercury removal unit, the probe extends across the inner diameter of the bed to monitor the gas stream across the full width of the molecular sieve. By sending samples to a downstream analyzer, the Mole Sieve Probe helps operators detect rising water or mercury levels, identify molecular sieve breakthrough, plan regeneration, and protect downstream equipment from costly damage and process shutdowns.
