Protect your Analyzer Before Liquids Become a Problem
The Welker ALS Analyzer Liquid Shutoff provides dependable natural gas analyzer protection by stopping liquid slugs before they reach your gas chromatograph or analytical device. Installed upstream of an analyzer as a standalone component or part of a sample conditioning system, the ALS allows gas to flow freely during normal online sampling and automatically shuts off flow when liquids are present. Its simple, corrosion-resistant design, transparent housing, backflush capability, and leak-tight ball check valve help reduce costly analyzer damage, downtime, and maintenance.
Natural Gas Sampling
Analyzer protection upstream of gas chromatographs and analytical devices
Analyzer Grade Gas Conditioning
Protection from liquid slugs during continuous gas analysis
Resources
Automatic Liquid Shutoff
Automatically stops sample flow when liquid is detected, helping prevent contamination and damage to downstream gas chromatographs and analyzers.
Leak-Tight Analyzer Protection
An internal ball check valve creates a secure seal when liquid enters the device, providing dependable protection for sensitive analytical equipment.
Clear Housing for Easy Inspection
The transparent housing allows operators to quickly verify gas flow and identify accumulated liquid without disassembling the unit.
Fast Backflushing
Collected liquid can be backflushed toward the pipeline using dry inert gas, helping restore sample flow and reduce maintenance downtime.
Flexible Sample System Integration
The ALS can be installed as a standalone analyzer liquid shutoff or integrated into a complete natural gas sample conditioning system.
Optional Liquid Shutoff Valve
Provides emergency shutoff prior to the analyzer when liquid is detected, helping prevent costly analyzer damage.
Compact Footprint
Supports easier installation in analyzer shelters, laboratories, and space-constrained gas sampling systems.
