Welker F-8 high-pressure particulate filter

F-8

High-pressure natural gas filtration for cleaner supply gas and downstream instrument protection.

The Welker F-8 Filter is a compact high-pressure natural gas filter designed to remove particulates before gas reaches pneumatic controllers, instruments, and downstream equipment. As gas flows through the F-8, filter media separates solids from the gas stream to help reduce contamination, protect sensitive instrumentation, and support dependable operation in small-volume, high-pressure applications. Available in standard carbon steel or high-pressure 316/316L stainless steel construction with multiple filter element options, optional bypass, and pressure ratings up to 6000 psig, the F-8 provides reliable particulate filtration for natural gas instrumentation and sampling systems.

Where to Use

Natural Gas Instrumentation Protection

Upstream of pneumatic controllers, instruments, and downstream equipment where particulate removal is needed to help protect system performance.

High-Pressure Gas Filtration

Small-volume natural gas applications requiring compact filtration at elevated operating pressures.

Sampling and Conditioning Systems

Natural gas sampling or conditioning systems where clean gas helps reduce contamination, maintenance, and equipment wear.

Resources

Compact Design

Fits small-volume, high-pressure gas systems and tight instrumentation layouts.

Carbon Steel or 316/316L Stainless Steel Construction

Provides material flexibility for standard or high-pressure natural gas filtration applications.

Multiple Filter Element Options

Allows operators to select polyethylene or stainless steel filter media with different nominal micron ratings to match particulate removal needs.

NACE MR-01-75 Conformance

Supports applicable sour service or corrosive natural gas applications.

Optional Bypass

Provides added flexibility for system operation or maintenance planning.

High-Pressure Capability

Supports applications up to 3000 psig in the standard model and up to 6000 psig in the high-pressure model.
