Flow limiting protection for turbine and rotary meter accuracy
The Welker FLN Flow Limiting Nozzle is designed to protect turbine and rotary meters from high gas velocities and rotor overspeeding. Installed downstream of the meter between raised face flanges, the FLN limits capacity, helps develop the downstream gas flow profile, reduces turbulence, and minimizes pressure loss. Custom-designed for each meter and application, the FLN helps prevent mechanical failure, preserve meter accuracy, reduce costly downtime, and keep gas measurement equipment operating within its normal working range.
