Heated pressure regulation that helps protect gas sample integrity
The Welker HR Heated Instrument Regulator is a single-stage, spring-loaded, electrically heated pressure reducing valve designed to condition natural gas sample streams before analyzer entry. Installed upstream of an analyzer as a standalone pressure control device or part of a sample conditioning system, the HR provides safe outlet pressure while applying controlled heat to help offset Joule-Thomson cooling, prevent condensation, and maintain sample integrity. With side-entry electric heating, diaphragm or piston sensing, multiple pressure control ranges, body and seat material options, and an ergonomic hand knob, the HR supports reliable analyzer-grade natural gas conditioning.
Where to Use
Natural Gas Analyzer Sampling
Upstream of an analyzer as a standalone heated pressure control device or part of a natural gas sample conditioning system.
Complies With:
API 8.6API 14.1GPA 2166ISO 8943
Side-Entry Electric Heating Element
Provides efficient heat transfer while supporting installations with height restrictions.
Diaphragm or Piston Sensing
Allows the regulator to be configured for different outlet pressure and sensitivity needs.
Multiple Pressure Control Ranges
Adapts to the requirements of downstream analyzers and sample conditioning equipment.
Supports corrosion resistance and compatibility with different process fluids.
