Pressure-driven pumpless odorant injection for high-pressure natural gas pipelines
The patented Welker PulseInject™ is a pumpless, pressure-driven odorant injection system designed for proportional-to-flow natural gas odorization in city gate stations, transmission pipelines, compressor stations, power plants, peaking facilities, and high-pressure applications. Built for flow rates from 25 Mscfh up to 8 MMscfh and pipeline pressures up to 1480 psig, PulseInject™ automatically adjusts injection volume and rate to changing flow conditions. With few moving parts, low pressure differential requirements, Modbus or Ethernet communication, microSD audit trail logging, odorant and pneumatic supply filtration, redundant solenoids, and 110% containment, PulseInject™ supports dependable odorization with reduced maintenance and improved system visibility.
High-Pressure Natural Gas Odorization
Proportional odorant injection for transmission pipelines, compressor stations, power plants, peaking facilities, and city gate stations.
High-Flow Odorization Applications
Designed for applications with injection pressure above 200 psig or maximum flow rate above 1.5 MMscfh.
Remote Monitoring Applications
Natural gas odorization sites where off-site system visibility, troubleshooting, and historical reporting are needed.
Resources
Pumpless, Pressure-Driven Injection
Uses pipeline pressure to drive odorant injection, helping reduce maintenance compared with pump-based odorization systems.
Low Pressure Differential Requirement
Supports odorant injection with reduced pneumatic supply pressure requirements.
Touch Screen Controller With Welker Program
Automatically adjusts injection volume and rate to changing flow conditions without manual volume adjustment.
Remote Monitoring Using Modbus or Ethernet
Supports off-site system monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational visibility.
Audit Trail and Alarm Log on microSD Card
Stores time- and date-stamped records for reporting, planning, and maintenance review.
Welker F-9 Filter and F-5 Filter Dryer
Removes contaminants from odorant and pneumatic supplies to help extend operational life and reliability.
Low-Pressure Odorant Supply Tank With 110% Containment
Helps protect the ground from contamination and supports easier cleanup.
Redundant Solenoids
Limits interruptions to operation by providing backup injection capability.
