Optimal natural gas spot sampling with liquid carryover protection
The Welker SSM-1 Spot Sampling Manifold is designed to improve natural gas spot sampling by reducing liquid carryover and helping prevent created liquids from reaching the sample cylinder. Ideal for applications with potential light slugs of condensate or other liquids, the SSM-1 connects with a Welker sample probe and single-cavity cylinder to create a complete natural gas spot sampling system. With an extension tube and valve, Welker DP-15 Drip Pot, and optional Welker Fluid Sentinel liquid separator and sight glass, the SSM-1 helps operators collect cleaner, more reliable spot samples downstream of separators and in challenging gas sampling conditions.
Spot Sampling
Where light slugs of condensate or other liquids may be present, including downstream of a separator
Complies With:
Resources
Extension Tube With Valve
Helps remove flow restriction from the sample cylinder to offset the Joule-Thomson effect during spot sampling.
Welker DP-15 Drip Pot
Removes free liquids from the sample path before they can reach the sample cylinder.
Optional Welker Fluid Sentinel Liquid Separator and Sight Glass
Helps prevent free and created liquids from entering the sample cylinder while allowing operators to visually monitor for liquids and adjust sampling technique as needed.
